This innovative and free resource highlights local and international initiatives that foster positive peace, cooperation, and social transformation around the world. It is a practical and inspiring tool that demonstrates how everyone, at their own scale, can act for a more peaceful future.
In 2024 and early 2025, our planet witnessed the highest number of armed conflicts (61) since 1946, some of them between States with nuclear weapons. Peace is no longer merely an ideal—it has become a condition for our collective survival. It is in this context that the Atlas of Peaceful Futures Practices is being published: a guide and innovative living resource designed to equip, inspire, and empower emerging leaders and peacebuilders worldwide. Through educational, social, institutional, and technological approaches, it seeks to transform our societies in a sustainable way.
